Pastor Daniel has served as the leader of New Horizon Church since its founding in August 2024.Service and Ministry
Before entering pastoral ministry, he served for 14 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is grateful for the honor of serving his country and considers it a blessing to now serve the Kingdom of God.Pastor Daniel is an Assemblies of God Licensed Minister with the Alaska Ministry Network.Family and Welcome
He and his wife, Araceli (Celi), have been married for 17 years and are blessed with three children: Daniel, Larry, and Elina.The Lambaren family is honored to welcome you to our church family.

Ministry Experience
Before serving the Valdez community, Araceli (Celi) served in nursery and youth ministry beginning in 2022. Pastor Celi is an Assemblies of God Certified Minister with the Alaska Ministry Network.Recovery Ministry Service
She also served for more than two years as a Program Coordinator with Alaska Adult & Teen Challenge, supporting Recovery Ministry efforts for mothers and their children.Family Support and Coordination
In this role, Celi helped coordinate and facilitate reunification between mothers in recovery and their children in on-campus family homes. She worked to ensure the children could live comfortably on campus and continue attending regular school programs.
Worship pastor: Chris Wiles
Music and Worship Ministry
Chris's music journey began in 1992 through his involvement in the Christian music industry.Ministry Experience
For more than 30 years, Chris has led worship and served in both youth and worship ministry across Alaska and the Lower 48. He is also the Young Life leader for Valdez, AK.Education
